The weather is finally warm enough for outdoor picture taking! We needed some family photos (We didn't have any family photos with Torah in them) and it worked out perfectly that my sister was in town to take some for us. We think she did a wonderful job, especially considering the whole thing was rushed and Addi was being grumpy. Thank you Akasha!

Torah is still an incredibly sweet and relaxed baby. I often call her my little angel. Obviously Adelaide has overheard me saying this, as yesterday after giving Torah a kiss she announced, "mom, I love baby Torah. She's an angel." It was very cute and made me smile. I love my girls. :)

Yesterday Torah learned how to roll over from her back to her tummy! Although she may not look too excited about it in these photos, I sure was thrilled by her new trick! It is fun when she does things for the first time, but it's also sad since it means she's growing up. It seems like overnight she transformed from being an infant into a boisterous baby.

She is also teething right now. When she's not smiling, drooling, or gnawing on her fists, she has this expression on her face.

Adelaide's Birthday

Addi is three years old! We threw her and her cousin Aspen a double party last month in Pittsburgh. It was a princess party and the girls had a great time. We enjoyed watching them open their presents with so much enthusiasm. Here are some pictures of the party taken by my sister Akasha.

The girls decided to help us decorate the cakes before we had time to finish them ourselves. They added some candies on top, stuck their fingers in the frosting, and even did taste test right in the middle. :) Adelaide talked about her birthday cake for days before her party, she was very excited about it. I was considering making her a cake on her actual birthday, but I was afraid she'd think her birthday is every month. We still wanted to do something for her on her birthday so we gave her a birthday bench instead. We found it at Home Depot and thought it was really cute.

3 months

Torah is growing up quickly. Tomorrow she'll be three months old! Lately she has started to laugh, she's becoming more coordinated and likes to tug on her clothes, and for the past few weeks she's been sleeping through the night. She's our mellow baby and she's helped to make the adjustment to two children fairly easy. :)

Adelaide's Hair

Addi has been looking much older lately (She's growing up too fast!) and I think it's because her hair has gone through a major growth spurt the past couple of months. I was going through my pictures and came across photos of her taken last March and I can't believe how young she looks!

Her hair was a little longer in June.

Longer still in October.

About the same length still in December.

And now! I love her curls and I'm glad she hasn't outgrown them. ( I had curls as a baby but outgrew them by age two)

Excited for Spring!

Yesterday was sunny and 60 degrees! I let Addi play in our new backyard for the first time. She seemed to have a great time exploring.

Since Adelaide was born in the Springtime, she spent a lot of time outdoors when she was a newborn. This was actually Torah's first time outside for more than just a couple minutes!
