The girls decided to help us decorate the cakes before we had time to finish them ourselves. They added some candies on top, stuck their fingers in the frosting, and even did taste test right in the middle. :) Adelaide talked about her birthday cake for days before her party, she was very excited about it. I was considering making her a cake on her actual birthday, but I was afraid she'd think her birthday is every month. We still wanted to do something for her on her birthday so we gave her a birthday bench instead. We found it at Home Depot and thought it was really cute.

The girls had so much fun together! I love that Aspen will always have Addi as a best friend! I still laugh when I think about them getting into their birthday cakes before us! Such silly little girls! Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Addi! Wish we could have dug into the cake too! Peppa saw the photos and has been asking to go to Addi's birthday ever since. She doesn't seem to understand that we can't go because you are in a different country. Next time we get together we'll have to have lots of birthday parties to make up for the ones we'll miss. Looks like a VERY fun day. Totally girlie and totally perfect.
