Caterpillar Forest

Last week while we were exploring the hiking trail behind our cabin, we found a beautiful section of trees with dozens of caterpillars everywhere you looked. The girls were so excited and Addy named the area "Caterpillar Forest." Yesterday cousins came to visit and were excited to take them on the trail to see all the caterpillars.

One week old

             Here are some photos of Andrew during his first week of life here on earth. Since we brought him home, he has been a very calm and content baby boy. We adore him and are so grateful that he is a part of our family.

Andrew had a hard time nursing, so we gave him a bottle for a day while I waited to meet with a lactation consultant. Addy thought it was so great to be a little mom and feed him his bottle.

Torah's third birthday

We sure love our wild and energetic 3 year old! Torah has an incredible amount of nonstop energy. We felt she wasn't getting enough exercise living in an apartment, so we bought her an inflatable jumping castle for her birthday. She loves it, especially when we turn music on and her big sister jumps with her. I took Addy to school late on Torah's birthday so that the girls could jump together first thing in the morning. After taking Adelaide to school, some of Torah's friends came over for a little party. Unfortunately, December was the peak of my morning sickness misery and I didn't take as many photos as I normally would, and wish I at least took a photo of her with her friends or jumping with Addy. We opened presents when daddy came home from work, and concluded the day with lots of play-dough mess making.

                           Because Torah loves fruit smoothies, Addy picked out for this cute little toy blender.
