Matching on Myrtle Beach

Last week we went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a great trip! We had never been to South Carolina before and it was beautiful! At the last minute I decided to make the girls matching dresses out swimsuit fabric I bought on clearance a few months ago. I actually brought my sewing machine with me so I could finish them! I wasn't in the mood to sew until the night before we left, and so these photos were taken just before we checked out of hotel and headed back to Maryland. Adelaide and Aspen love playing in the ocean and they were quite sad when it was time to go. Torah on the other hand was tired that morning and ready to go back inside after a couple minutes.

Photos from when we visit the Virginia side of the park with some friends at the end of April. It warmed up a lot in three weeks! It is interesting how this National Park borders two states. Views of the falls are beautiful at both sides of the park, but I like the trails best in Maryland.

Boat racing

We love to go on morning walks around the trails by our neighborhood pond. Yesterday we discovered that the pond overflow is the perfect place for boat racing! Adelaide loved it and keeps asking to go again.

The weather is finally warm enough for outdoor picture taking! We needed some family photos (We didn't have any family photos with Torah in them) and it worked out perfectly that my sister was in town to take some for us. We think she did a wonderful job, especially considering the whole thing was rushed and Addi was being grumpy. Thank you Akasha!

Torah is still an incredibly sweet and relaxed baby. I often call her my little angel. Obviously Adelaide has overheard me saying this, as yesterday after giving Torah a kiss she announced, "mom, I love baby Torah. She's an angel." It was very cute and made me smile. I love my girls. :)
